Pool view Taman Indrakila offers peace and tranquility in abundance. A boutique hotel situated high above the Campuhan River Valley on the outskirts of the artistic and cultural community of Ubud. Open since 1981, it has earned a reputation for its secluded position and magnificent views.
Sixteen rooms hug the hillside, each with its own panoramic view of coconut palms and grassy hillsides. On a fine day the holy mountain Gunung Agung towers on the distance horizon.
Rooms at Taman Indrakila are simply but tastefully decorated and all have their own terrace or balcony. Awake to the sound of birdsong, thrill at the flash of brilliant blue Javan kingfisher as at dives into the ravine far below watch the white herons on their daily journey, listen to the crickets in the silence of the evening
The swimming pool is set in colourful gardens which plunge down through the jungle towards the river far below. Serving tasty Indonesian cuisine, the restaurant affords a panoramic view of the surrouding countryside.
