Sangeh ( Monkey Forest )

It is located near to Sangeh village; the renowned 6 hectares of Bali Sangeh Monkey Forest are filled with giant nutmeg trees capable of growing as high as 40m. Sangeh Monkey Forest near the village of Sangeh, in southwestern Bali, has six hectares of forestland with giant nutmeg trees. The main attractions here are the hordes of funny yet wise Balinese monkeys inhabiting both the trees and the temple, Pura Bukit Sari, found in the heart of the forest. The monkeys of the forest are believed to be sacred and indeed will approach anyone paying respects at the temple. But visitors should be aware that these monkeys are attracted to shiny objects, so cameras and jeweler should be left behind or kept well hidden under clothes or in a bag when exploring Sangeh Bali.

Mengwi ( the Royal Tempel of Taman Ayun)

The temple of Taman Ayun is in Bali's Mengwi district it is arround 18 kilometers northwest of Denpasar The name Taman Ayun means "beautiful garden". It was probably built in 1634, according to local history this temple was built by I Gusti Agung, the king of Mengwi.
There are many interesting features of both the temple and the garden. The temple buildings are fills with decoration, relief and statues of the nine gods. The temple and the grounds were restored in 1973. Seen from the temple location which is surrounded by water, the Taman Ayun Temple might be connected with the legend of Rebut Amerta or Mandana Giri, the story of the Gods and Asuras (demon Gods) ocean of milk. Amerta is an eternal life. Another proof of what is the relief of Garuda having a cup of ambrosia while his back is being it by a demon. This relief is sculpture on the back wall of the throne like shrine in the middle of the inner court.
A cultural performance is held every afternoon in Pura Taman Ayun. 

Bedugul (Lake Beratan)

Bedugul is the name of both a small city and a mountain-lake resort area, which Balinese have long used for weekend retreats. In the western highlands of Bali is the serene mountain area of Bedugul where vegetables, fruits and flowers thrive in the alpine climate. The colorful little market offers a wide selection of produce including exotic strawberries. Bedugul is one of tourism area which is perched about 1240m high from sea level. We can visit the Ulundanu Temple , Lake Beratan and Kebun Raya Eka Karya Bedugul (botanical Garden). Pura Ulun Danu Bratan rises from the lakeshore promontory and seems to rise from within Danau Bratan itself. There are many water sports available here are boating, water skiing, and parasailing. Kebun Raya Bedugul or Bedugul Botanical Garden is renowned for its wide selection of plants. It's a very airy site with mountain atmosphere. Encompassing 120 hectares, the gardens were established in 1959 as a branch of the Bogor National Botanical Garden. There is a large collection of native plants and over 500 specimens of orchids.

Gitgit ( Waterfall )

Gitgit Waterfall is one of the famous tourist destinations in Bali which is located in Gitgit countryside, Sukasada sub district and about 10 Km from Singaraja Town or about 70 Km from Denpasar. It is set at height land about 300 meters above sea level. Beside of Gitgit, there is another important spot point like the monument for hero struggle of Singaraja resident who dead on the battle against the Dutch colonialist. This monument is called Bhuwana Pangkung Bangka. This Monument is extant monument and idol of people struggle action against the Dutch colonization. This monument is located in Gitgit countryside and Sukasada sub district and about 17 Km from Singaraja Town . It is situated on the hill bank. The facilities are available at Gitgit Waterfall is consisted of the parking area, restaurant and art shop. It is not far from the waterfall place, there is a place for taking a rest while enjoy the beauty panorama of rice terrace and Buleleng Beach. In order to visit the Gitgit waterfall, all visitors will follow the walkway down until the spot point. This road is one of the omissions in Dutch era where the local resident uses it to access other regions

Banjar ( Hot Spring water & Budhist Temple )

Banjar Hot Water is a nature hot wellspring from the ground and it is believed can heal the disease. Its water is accommodated at one small swimming pool encircled by unique rural nature, its situation close to the Wihara (Buda Temple). Banjar Hot Water is located in Banjar Countryside, Banjar sub district and Singaraja Regency. It is about 1,5 Km from Banjar or 24 Km from Singaraja Town. To reach the Hot Water location in Banjar, we can use the motor vehicle through the main road with good condition and passing the Balinese Village with unique culture life. The nearest accommodations like hotels or lodging including restaurants are also available in particular at Lovina Beach area. There are many public transportation also available to connect the travel to Singaraja town. 

Lovina ( Stay overnight )

Lovina is one of the famous tourist places in north part of Bali which own beautiful of calm sea water, blackish chromatic sand and the sea with its dolphin. One of the favorite fascinations in Lovina is dolphin watching tour. Hundreds of dolphins can be seen in the morning time around 1 km offshore. We can see the dolphin attractions in this place like jumping. It is not fail to draw if the tourist has the time to see the sunset here. Lovina area is also supported by the number of tourism fascination which is can be reached from this location. Places of interests around Lovina are Hot Water Banjar, Wihara Budha (Buddies shrine), Gigit Waterfall and some countryside exist around the location. 

Singaraja - Lovina

The attraction of these 17 km east of Singaraja town is situated a large bathing pools in the spring gushes: supposedly a fountain of youth for lovers. Air Sanih (also Yeh Sanih) is an idyllic place, perfect for a stop on the journey from the north to the Karangasem. There are some good, simple accommodation on the beach and restaurants.
Tranquil beach with fresh spring pools and accommodations.Air Sanih is known for its spring water baths - a set of pools stuck between the coast and the main road, with a lively crowd of locals in the afternoon. The baths can offer a fun experience, but don't expect anything pristine. A few hotels are found between the road and the beach. Here budget travellers can find inexpensive backpacker's places such as Puri Rena, Hotel Tara, or Wira Bali, most them rather run-down. do you like

 

Kintamani  ( Active Volcano of mount Batur )

Kintamani is a serene district with 5 volcanoes situated on a hill 1,460 meters above sea level; three of them are Mount Agung, Mount Kintamani, and Mount Batur. Mount Batur is the only one which is still active. In addition, there is a wide Lake of Batur in a valley making the entire sight truly contentment. With the plateau surrounding the area, it’s needless to say that in Kintamani the weather is always cool and chilly particularly in the morning and at the mid night. Everyday, load of tourists both local and international visit the site to chill out in the cool breezes while pampering the eyes with the most captivating sights imaginable.

Bangli ( kehen temple )

Kehen Temple is a beautiful Hindu temple located in foothills, south part of Bangli Regency and it is about 45 Km from Denpasar town. Inside of this temple are, there is Panyimpenan Temple building keep 3 inscriptions which is relating to its contents and temple existence. It is strategically located in the high land, so we can see the beautiful view. It is a famous temple in Bali and many visitors from foreign country has visited it.
This sacred temple is built majestically on terraces on the southern slope of the hill under a big old banyan tree that shades the shrines and gates of its courtyards. The forest background of this temple offers a unique ambiance and mesmerizing scene.
Besides its mesmerizing panorama and majestic temple structure, Kehen Temple has a variety of ancient manuscripts. There is a bronze manuscript about the slaughter of a black bull during a feast held in the temple in the year 1204.
 

Goa Gajah (Elephant Cave)

Situated in calm village called Bedulu, Goa Gajah or the Elephant Cave is about 26 kilometers from Denpasar city. The entire place is soothing, surrounded by the beautiful terrace rice fields and Petanu river valley panorama. As one of the enchanting historical sites, Goa Gajah attracts more visitor both local and international coming for sightseeing, worship, or contemplation. Goa Gajah name was derived from ‘Lwa Gajah’ meaning elephant waters and it was the authentic name of Petanu River. Here, we can find the very old Budha statue, three-branching stupa, fountain statues, and many more. The facilities around the site are sufficient to accommodate visitor, such as the parking lot, electricity, telephone, and load of souvenir shops.

Ubud ( Village of painters )

Ubud is a district, formely was a small kindom but it has become famous tourist resorts nowadays. The development of this village had begun with the arrival of Walter Spies, a Moscow born, a German artist  in the year of twenties and he established an art called: Pita Maha. Later Rudolf Bonnet, a Dutch painter was appointed by institution of the museum to manage the traditional painting gallery in this village which now is known as Puri Lukisan museum. Here the beat traditional painting are kept.
Ubud is charming not because of its beaches or bars, but for its art, music, architecture, and dance. Even having gone through tremendous development, Ubud is still pretty and relaxed, especially if you're staying in a secluded family compound or eating at one of the pleasant open-air restaurants. Batuan village is situated 15 kilometres from Denpasar,where the local people live in and spend their daily life.Balinese house basically has the same architecture and style all over the island.It comprises several buildings,the east building is used to make offerings,and the south building will be a kitchen.the west building is commonly used for the parent’s room,and the north building is the children rooms or used as the place of the offerings. However, Hindu people in Bali build their temple in northeast in the area of the house, called family temple,and they make offerings everyday.The villagers wash their clothes and bathing in the river and make a fire with firewood.

 

Celuk (Gold/Silver smith)
