Overview

Kamandalu Resort is one of Bali's most idyllic resorts takes its name from a sacred gourd depicted in the ancient Mahabrata epic. This vessel contained the Tirtha Amertha, holy water capable of giving everlasting life.

Kamandalu Resorts and Spa is surrounded by springs from which water is still drawn for religious ceremonies, today's Kamandalu offers much the same soul-restoring reward by providing its guest with relaxation that is both energizing and blissfully languorous.

Kamandalu Resort is idylic retreat with 58 rooms is built in the traditional style of a Balinese village which pleasantly blends into the surrounding terraced rice fields and tropical forests. Each villa is uniquely designed with spacious bedroom, indoor living space, outdoor shower and private garden courtyard. For the ultimate in luxury, some of the villas have either private outdoor swimming pool or jacuzzi. Kamandalu was created to resemble a traditional Balinese village which blends harmoniously with its natural surroundings

All villas are air-conditioned and have twin beds or king-sized four poster beds, well equipped bathroom with sunken bath and separate shower (traditional outdoor Balinese shower in the villas), IDD telephones, day safe box, refrigerator & mini bar, coffe-tea maker, hair dryer, color television with satellite broadcast channel, personal stereo system, private garden and shaded "Bale Bengong".

Garden Pavilion

Family Pavilion
A combination of upper and lower guest rooms, ideal for a family or two couples travelling together.

Garden Villa
Four-poster bed or twin beds, indoor sunken bath, outdoor shower and shaded Bale Bengong in a landscaped garden with panoramic views of the Penatu River.

Jacuzzi Villa
Four-poster bed or twin beds, indoor sunken bath, outdoor shower and Bale Bengong. Secluded circular Jacuzzi sits in a landscaped garden overlooking the valley.

Pool Villa
Four-poster bed or twin beds, indoor sunken bath, outdoor shower and shaded Bale Bengong. Features a private free-form swimming pool in a landscaped garden with breathtaking views of the terraced hillsides.

Villa Suites
All villas feature spacious bedrooms, private free-form pool and Bale Bengongs. Some villas have their own living rooms or two bedrooms.
